Sketch
Pieces starts out as a sketch...
Layout
The sketch is then attached to a piece of sheet metal in the material of choice.
Cut out
The pieces are freed from the sheet. I use a jewelers saw to carefully cut each piece out by hand.
cutting out inside
Small holes are drilled to enable a saw blade to cut out the inside detail.
clean up
Once the pieces are cut out they are cleaned up with small files.

For these earrings a bezel was soldered onto the cut out pieces, the brass was patinated, and stones are set in the bezels.
